“. . . This is the first poetry collection I’ve ever reviewed that has impressed me . . . Sotér has mastered the abstraction of poetry; he’s gifted at figurative language and metaphor. His lines will resonate with you and keep you coming back time and again . . .” Adam Mann i A Lamp and a Gargoyle
“. . . The sonnet is a highly structured form of verse . . . In Sailing on Words, Pierre Sotér handles the medium admirably, displaying his innate skill as a wordsmith. There are some classic examples of the form in this collection along with some memorable lines . . . I enjoyed reading this collection and found plenty to ponder and reflect upon within it. An excellent choice for the fan of the sonnet and an impressive volume of work from a talented exponent of the form.” Charles Remington
". . . Pierre Sotér's verses are impressive. . . I loved his poems for their intensity. His words make it easy to visualize the scenes he describes, like the gentle breeze that feels like a tender kiss. . .Kind of Pain is a wonderful poetry collection that encourages us to enjoy life and appreciate the complexity of love.
