Yana Sanko - Social anthropologist, poet, member of feminist writing lab Rasciajennie. Working with ethnographic, documentary, and experimental poetry, using poetic inquiry as a research method. In her research, engages with such topics as politics of mental health, neurodiversity, disability, care and solidarity, as well as family history and multilingual entanglement. Organised a series of writing workshops, Languages we are living with. In 2025, her poem Object 7604 was awarded 1st prize in an ethnographic poetry competition organised by the Society for Human Anthropology (a section of the American Anthropological Association).
